INCOME PROTECTION CLAIMS ASSISTANCE
We specialise in Trauma and Income Protection claims where the insurance company has wrongly declined your claim.
What is Disablement Insurance?
One of the times we most rely on insurance is when we suffer an unexpected health issue that leaves us unable to work or derive an income.
Insurance companies provide policy holders financial security through products such as total Permanent Disability (TPD)Insurance, Income Protection Insurance, and Trauma Insurance, which are collectively called disability insurance. These types of insurance are either offered as part of your personal insurance, through your employer, or through your own insurance broker for self-employed business owners.
At claim time, the policies can respond as follows:
TPD Insurance is an insurance policy that pays a lump sum that is triggered when someone becomes permanently disabled and is unable to work due to illness or injury.
Income protection insurance is a policy that pays a monthly benefit if you are disabled due to illness or injury and, as a result, you are unable to work in your own occupation.
Trauma Insurance pays a lump sum that is triggered when someone suffers a defined illness (sometimes called critical illness cover). It is commonly combined with Life insurance policies.
OUR EXPERTISE
We help policyholders with claims on their TPD, Income Protection, and Trauma policies understand the insurance system and maximize their policy benefits. We also assist policyholders whose insurers have either declined the claim, deferred the claim, or are unduly frustrating the process.
